CNBC Marketing Backfires – Courtesy of Jon Stewart
The reason I posted this is due to the whole background of the financial meltdown.
Most of the media kept on telling us everything was fine, that there was nothing to worry about instead of acting on something undeniable until it was too late.
Sure, it was CNBC's marketing strategy and they also did it to keep the masses on check, because even if it sounds rough, truth is the masses believe everything the media tells them.
But that was part of the cause of the meltdown itself and as a result millions of people lost their life's savings and in some cases their homes.
So my point is, don't believe everything you watch on the news, no matter how respectable the networks are. This is living proof supporting my statement.
It goes both ways. Now the media is telling us the world is falling apart, crisis, recession and what not.
Now, is it?
A valuable lesson to be learned.
