How To Avoid Internet Business Fraud

The Internet is awash with online businesses these days. Most of the companies trading online are legitimate businesses but some are frauds. When working or starting a business online you need to be aware of these scams and know how to avoid them. Internet business fraud is the number one reason for loss of profits when trading online and therefore should be given the highest attention by you. Here are the myths dispelled.

Internet business fraud myth 1, stuffing envelopes.

Many companies offer you the chance to work out home stuffing envelopes and claim you will be highly paid for it, come on! These companies offer ludicrous claims that you can earn up to $1000 dollars a day preparing letters for them. I have met many people who have been tricked by their use of words and false promises but if you really could earn $1000 per day sitting at home stuffing envelopes wouldn't more people be doing it? If you want to make money online steer well clear of this fraud.

Internet business fraud myth 2, get rich quick.

There are endless amounts of get rich quick schemes on the Internet. Yes, people can get rich quickly on the Internet but it is never by purchasing one of these guides. Normally the basic idea behind these scams is that you buy a product telling you to sell that same product to others, come on even a child knows that its not a sound business model. Quickly anyone who falls for it has already bought it of the original seller and realises its a scam and no one else will buy it.

Internet business fraud myth 3, paid surveys.

Paid surveys are not really a scam and money can be made in taking them but heres the catch, you will never make the amount of money they say you will. Normally these companies have a very high pay out rate that and don't give you enough work to reach that amount. You could spend years filling out surveys but is it worth it for $50. you also don't know what these companies are doing with the information you provide them, it can be used for any amount of advertising and other unscrupulous activities.

Internet business fraud myth 4, pay to watch ads.

The growing popularity of these bux type sites is worrying. The offer very low rates for hours of work and most have been documented to never pay out. Besides what company is going to pay for advertising that literally forces people with no interest of their product to watch their ads. Often time these companies do similar tactics as the survey companies in never letting you reach your payout rate. This is definitely another online money making method to avoid.

Don't let this list of frauds deter you from trying to start an online business though. There are reputable Internet business that can make you money. Normally they revolve around affiliate marketing or advertising. A good place to get started learning about affiliate marketing is: www.TheNewbieBlueprint.com
