Types Of Legitimate Work At Home Opportunities
If you've been online for any length of time searching for another source of income, either to replace your job or to boost what you are already getting, you will see that there are many different ways and methods you can use to get the amount of income you want, whatever that may be. The key is to be able to decide what legitimate work at home opportunities you are interested in and then pursue them with vigor.
Although there are websites out there that may tout specific types of legitimate work at home opportunities over others, the important thing to remember is not to be swayed by promises of easy money or the ability to work only 1 hour a day and make X amount per month. Although this may tempt your greed gland, it is most important to first start off with what interests you.
If you enjoy talking with people, then perhaps network marketing (also called MLM) is for you. This is one of the oldest types of legitimate work at home opportunities, with the emphasis on WORK if you please. In this case, it really doesn't matter whether you sell discount travel, change from within, or health products. The people you talk to just want their problem solved, and if you've done your market research, you will have eager customers just waiting to buy and perhaps join your business. The key here is that you must be comfortable talking with people as the industry is very much people based. You can make a substantial income, if you're willing to not only sell your product but also sell yourself and work at it. There is no quick fix here.
If that sounds like too much work, or you're simply not into talking on the phone that much, there are several other types of legitimate work from home opportunities. Another huge type is affiliate marketing. In essence, you find a niche (market) that you are passionate about, see if there is traffic and competition, then choose a product and market it to those seeking the solution you have. Fulfillment, refunds and anything to do with the product is handled by the product creator and typically twice a month, you will get a check from your affiliate network for sales you've made. Clickbank is an excellent example of this and is the largest network around. Here, you simply do your market research and drive traffic to the sales page with your affiliate link. There is no talking with people involved.
Finally, when you think about legitimate work from home opportunities, freelancing comes to mind as well. Here, you offer services on various freelance networks such as Elance or GetAFreelancer and you bid on jobs that interest you. This can be very lucrative once you get to the higher paying jobs and have positive feedback built up. As you can see, there are many different ways to go about earning an income online. The key is to pick one and stick with it.

I have been trying to find work from home jobs via the internet but as of yet no luck just basically scam after scam and a large fee associated with it, I never heard of paying to get a job in my life seems hopeless.
Hey Pauleen,
The thing with work from home jobs is that you're not paying to get a job, you're investing to get a business.
You will be the owner, you will be in charge, you're paying yourself.
However beware, there are a lot of scams out there.
